COMMUNITY GARDENING

 

 

Community garden is widely refered as any piece of land gardened by a group of people. In this program, participants access opportunity of learning how to grow certain plants including food plants. Skills gained here, can be used in planting food plants or fruit plants of their choices at their home backyard or even persuade a career in agriculture. Overall, the objective of this program is to improve people’s healthy eating, physical activity levels, combating social isolation, improving a neighbourhood’s all-round physical and mental health.

Garden activities include:

Planting and growing vegetables, corns/maize

Caring for plants

Watering the garden

CHILDREN & YOUTH PROGRAMS 

 

 

This program provides an opportunity for children and young people of different background to access different resources to achieve their needs

 

Programs available including:

  • Learning how to play music

  • Early Literacy and Numeracy focusing on stories, songs and school readiness

  • School holiday programs

  • Music Dancing

BASIC COMPUTING CLASSES

 

 

Life without using technology in the modern age can be a challenge. Technology has involved in almost every aspect of our lives: we need it for work, school, keeping in touch with friends, social services, remote education and even online shopping. This class covers:

  • Basic computer maintenance,

  • Keyboard typing,

  • How to use email,

  • Online activities,

  • Using Microsoft Word/Excel/Power Point/Publisher,

  • etc..

Are you planning to get your L's but facing some problems?

See how ANMS Can help you to:
